LA FILOSOFIA ANTE LA "VIDA DAÑADA" : LA CRISIS ECOLÓGICA

Philosophy before the “damaged life”: the ecological crisis

Abstract
The vertiginous development of a certain trend of the western ratio has led to the
fast habitat destruction and misery of 80% of humankind: here is the ecological crisis.
However, thanks to research on the contents of ecology as science and their
spreading, a horizon of a certain ecological militancy is arising, while theoretical positions
from some part of philosophy are being taken.
From this perspective, perhaps the task will be to dismount, to put off center the
discoursive constructions that support the baconian point of view, to refuse to believe that
the world has been made for human beings conceived from the calculating ratio, that these
ones are the only beings with moral relevance.
Key words: instrumental ratio- ecology- ecologist- progress- biotic- holocaust- Ethics
